Program summary:
謝文宜, the lecturer of social work in Shih Chien University, addresses gay & lesbian couple relationship, health and rights in Taiwan through the theme "Close Relationship in the Closet".

The inner thoughts, futuristic wishes and the desire to be recognized by their family members of the LGBT couple/partners will be discussed from a multi-disciplinary perspective. The similarities and differences in couples between gays and lesbians and between homosexual and heterosexual partners will be analyzed. Finally, the talk looks into the obstacles gay couples are facing in their pursuit for true love and when they cannot have an offspring, their balance between being a gay and hopes from their family members.
